SIAL Innovation Paris 2024: Mellow Matcha Dream and Toasty Walnut Date

SIAL Paris is the other heavyweight in the global food world, drawing over 7,000 exhibitors and 400,000 visitors. The SIAL Innovation selection highlights products that represent the future of food. Two Le Foöd products earned the distinction in 2024.

Got Chia! Mellow Matcha Dream is a smooth, earthy matcha Superfoöd Latte made with premium Japanese matcha and chia seeds. No bitterness. No culinary-grade shortcuts. The kind of matcha depth you'd expect from a specialty café, ready in three minutes at home.

Nuts Knock Toasty Walnut Date is a chewy, satisfying bite built on walnuts, smoky jujube (red dates), and chia seeds. This one is rooted in East Asian food tradition and modernized with a chia twist that makes it feel like a snack with a story. Because it is.

Being recognized at SIAL validated something we believe in deeply: that clean-label food can be culturally specific, globally appealing, and genuinely delicious all at once.

KeHE Golden Ticket: Spotted by Tree of Life

Here's one that might not make the evening news, but it matters enormously in the natural food world. KeHE Distributors is one of the largest specialty and natural food distributors in North America. Their Canadian subsidiary, Tree of Life, runs a Golden Ticket program to highlight emerging brands they believe have outstanding products. Brands that buyers and retailers should pay attention to.

Le Foöd earned a Golden Ticket. Which means the people whose job it is to find the best clean-label products on the planet looked at our lineup and said: this one. That kind of industry recognition doesn't come from marketing spend. It comes from what's in the bag or box.

What Awards Really Mean to Us

We're not going to pretend awards are why we do this. Nong didn't start Le Foöd because she wanted a trophy case. She started it because the foods she loved didn't leave her feeling her best, and she believed clean and joyful could coexist on the same ingredient list.

But recognition from Anuga, SIAL, and KeHE tells us we're not the only ones who think so. It tells us the industry is ready for food that leads with real flavor, named origins, and honest ingredients, not just clever branding.
