For me, that moment changed everything.
I grew up in Taiwan, where we greet each other by asking, “Have you eaten yet?” Food was never just fuel. It was love, culture, connection. Ingredients were simple. Flavors were bold. Nothing artificial. Nothing unnecessary.
When I built my life in the U.S., I found many of the flavors I loved. But I also found long ingredient lists. Additives I couldn’t recognize. Products that felt over-engineered.
So I asked myself a simple question:
What if we didn’t have to choose between joyful flavor and clean ingredients?
That question became Le Foöd.
To me, clean eating is not a trend. It’s respect. Respect for your body, your family, your culture, and the ingredients themselves.
